Class X, XII exams: 173 cases of unfair means reported

In the ongoing PSEB examinations of Class XII and Class X, as many as 101 and 72 unfair means cases (UMC) have been reported across the state, respectively.
Sources in the PSEB informed that in the Class XII exam, 42 cases were reported on March 2 in the papers of History, Chemistry and Business Economics and Quantitative Methods-II. Further, 19 cases were reported on February 23, 14 on February 26, 13 on February 20, eight on March 8, three on March 1 and two on March 5.
Similarly, in the Class X exams, 51 cases were reported on March 8 during the English exam and 21 cases on March 4 during the Science exam.
Jaspal Monga, Deputy District Education Officer, Muktsar, said, “No UMC case has been reported in the district.”
